The rooms are comfortable and spacious by modern standard, however my last stay at the place wasn't a good experience as the fire alarm went on for over 1hr. I am not joking or exaggerating. The premises is shared between different vendors so the fire alarm was coming from part of the property that wasn't under the control of the hotel. When I complained I was told there is nothing they could do about it. Overall, it is a good place for short stay if the alarm issue is ironed out.
It was ok for the price we paid in London, but overall state of the hotel is poor. There is no bar or lounge, so no atmosphere at all. But that's ok, we didn't want to spend time in London in hotel so we were happy to have place to sleep. Unfortunately in the morning water in the bathroom was freezing cold, so we could not take shower, the window was not sealed so room was cold and unpleasant! The bed was comfortable but that's about it... It's very dated and staff clearly don't care about customers because when we mentioned cold water in the shower lady in reception haven't even bothered to ask anything else.

Very friendly pub that does British food too a tee. Roasts with all the trimmings, fish and Chips etc all served in a basement level cosy environment. Recommend
Great pub serving good beer and food and shows sports on two screens. Need to book at the weekends as it tends to be busy

Fantastic pub with original oak panels and interior full of character. Went for delicious brunch on Saturday morning with the family. Kids had delicious American pancakes with maple syrup and strawberries and I had perfect Eggs Benedict with buttermilk biscuits. My Bloody Regent Mary was made with infused vodka and had a real kick. Our waitress gave the kids paper and colouring pens with games to play and they were happy bunnies. Great food, great service, great pub!
I love the Prince Regent. My favourite pub in the area. It's great for young families in the day time and they have parties with a DJ on Friday and Saturday evening. I like it for the sweet spot between these times when you can have a nice pint in perfect rustic Victorian surrounding.

Nice gastro pub with lovely food and good selection of beers. Couple of good function rooms for private events.
Always on point - good selection of food/drinks. Best roast in the area!

I would like to dissent to what Ms Anna Baig has written about the Lodge. The place is cleaned regularly between bookings and hundreds of reviews confirm this. The Lodge has never had the pleasure to get thousands of pounds for a single booking. Further, prices are set at time of booking and are considered fair for the type of accommodation offered. Ms Baig is entitled to her opinion but not to say things that are not true.
Great B&B in London southwest. Very friendly Italian host welcomed us like a family! Thanks Giulia!

Some rooms are too small, but otherwise you can not ask for more from this little establishment on Bedford hill. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and well maintained. And they are very quiet despite the hotel location on a relatively busy road. The breakfast is nice and rich for a lodge. The staff is polite and helpful.
We stayed here on the 18th -19th November 2017 and it was a beautiful stay. The receptionists were nice and helpful, the gentle man on night duty organised a taxi for us the next day. The room is spacious , neat and well decorated. Breakfast was good and the ladies were nice expect for one old lady who made it obvious she got a problem with other skins, otherwise will definitely stay here again.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
Old Cople Lane, Crystal Palace Parade, London SE19 1UF, UK – 020 8778 7155
Although the site is adjacent to the busy road it is protected from the noise by its lush boundary of trees. As well as caravans and motor homes the site (unusually ) also welcomes tents. The toilet facilities are clean and warm in the winter. London Transport buses to Trafalgar Square leave approximately every 10 minutes and take roughly an hour. Connections can be made to all the capitals landmarks. Crystal Palace is a 15 minute walk and a garage nearby sells milk and other basics. Wholeheartedly recommend this site for a London based.
Nice and clean site, good facilities, very welcoming and helpful staff. Reasonable access, to site. There is a large mast nearby that may interference with phones, but unless you look up you will hardly notice it due to trees etc around the site. Buses to central London are good and easy to get to, train station is a good walk away from site and uphill on return. Train is not much quicker than bus anyway by the time you have got to station and possibly changed trains.
